Job Purpose
The Senior Officer – Audiovisual Content will lead the end-to-end production of digital media assets for the project. This includes planning, shooting, and editing high-quality video reels, designing static campaign materials, and supporting content development across various platforms. The role will also involve managing and coordinating with content production vendors to ensure the quality and timely delivery of outsourced audiovisual materials.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, shoot, and edit engaging short-form videos (reels) for social media using professional camera and editing setups.
Design static visuals for social media, IEC materials, campaign branding, and online publications.
Collaborate with the Technical Expert – Social Media to translate SBCC themes and creative briefs into compelling visual outputs.
Coordinate and manage external vendors (videographers, editors, production houses) to ensure the delivery of high-quality content on time and within budget.
Assist in developing creative briefs, scripts, and storyboards for both in-house and outsourced content.
Organize field visits to capture campaign visuals, including video and photographic documentation.
Maintain and archive all audiovisual content in accordance with project and donor compliance standards.
Ensure visual and storytelling quality align with safeguarding principles, dignity, and ethical communication standards.
Support the development of video content for international day observances and digital exhibitions.
Safeguarding Responsibilities:
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA).Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements
Advanced videography and video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects)
Proficiency in graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva)
Experience in vendor management and production coordination
Understanding of SBCC principles, ethical storytelling, and campaign design
Fluency in both Bangla and English communication
Strong creative judgment and problem-solving abilities
Certification in audiovisual production, animation, or creative direction will be preferred
