∎ The Senior Merchandiser holds the accountability for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of footwear merchandising strategies. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing effective merchandising strategies, analyzing market trends, managing product assortments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Independently execute Footwear product development and merchandising cycle, understand latest fashion trends, source new materials.
∎ Execute and follow up on each step of process for Sports Shoes manufacturing!
∎ Ensure quality of products manufactured from protos, fit & pp sample stage to final inspection and ensure customer satisfaction.
∎ Ensure the quality of all imported raw material such as PU, mesh and others.
∎ Coordinate with Quality team regarding quality, fit and measurements and ensure smooth flow of production.
∎ Check and reconfirm accuracy of samples prior to dispatch to office / customer tech to ensure first time approval
∎ Work closely with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing, monitor quality standards, and ensure timely delivery of merchandise.
∎ Handle multiple factories and provide solutions and options to ease production.
∎ Obtain approval for cost effective and feasible methods and options
∎ Manage with Independent Quality Auditors and technicians for necessary for quality, measurement and technical related issues and ensure to delivery customer required levels
∎ Manage a smooth and workable time and action plan with the customer
∎ Work on prices with multiple factories and price breakdowns to ensure the best possible and competitive prices
∎ Manage a smooth workable relationship with current factories to develop ensure smooth execution of orders as well as source and develop newer factory base.
∎ Follow-up TNA on regular basis to ensure on-time delivery with right quality and quantity.
∎ Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and consumer preferences, incorporating relevant insights into merchandising strategies.
∎ Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and drive innovation.
∎ Understand ethical behavior and business practices and ensure own behavior and the behavior of others is consistent with these standards and aligns with the values of the organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships and work as a team
∎ Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic
∎ Strong presentation and delivery skills
∎ Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
∎ IT proficiency - advance level skill is a MUST in MS Office package (Especially, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
∎ Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently
∎ Ability to multitask and remain organized, meet deadlines
∎ At least 7 years' merchandising experience preferably in a reputed buying office in Sports Shoes category
∎ Must have sound understanding of sourcing, costing, as well as technical knowledge on footwear (synthetic) and production processes
