∎ Contract duration: Initial contract for 1 year; depending on performance, the contract is expected to be renewed under similar conditions for the remaining duration of the project phase.
∎ Place of work: Dhaka with regular (up to 40%) visit to the project field locations outside Dhaka.
∎ Reports to: Team Leader, BYETS
∎ Purpose of the job: The Senior Manager, Program and Partnership is a crucial position for ensuring success of the project implementation. The Senior Manager will manage a team of BYETS coordinators and project officers and work closely with MRM and Knowledge Management team. The individual serving in this position will be responsible for leading the core team engaged in program implementation and ensuring that every aspect of program implementation is properly managed and coordinated. The Senior Manager will be BYETS`s lead technical resource for integrating TVET concepts and Market Systems Development (MSD) approach in the training programs operated by the project in RMG, ICT and AP sector. As a member of core management team, the incumbent will report to the Team Leader and be responsible for identifying key strategic issues, opportunities, and risks of the project.
∎ Field visit requirement: Incumbent will require to participate in regulat field visit (40%) with the team members.
∎ Working Conditions and Environment: This will be applicable according to the Swisscontact Staff Manual.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the Team Leader (TL) in all aspects of strategic steering of the project and contribute to the overall program operation.
∎ Support the Team Lead in identifying, securing and managing new private and public sector partnership opportunities to bring additional resources/contribution for the project.
∎ Contribute to designing innovative Work Based Training (WBT) or Training Service Provider (TSP) based models using Market System Development (MSD) approach.
∎ Maintain good liaison with government agencies, ministries and major stakeholders associated with ICT, AP and RMG sector.
∎ Regularly review/update the project implementation/ work plan and take strategic decisions to ensure timely achievement of key milestone of the project.
∎ Support Team Leader in donor management, coordination, reporting and budgeting. The incumbent plays key role in preparing Annual Work Plan, progress report, risk report in collaboration with the MRM team.
∎ Work closely with Monitoring and Results Measurement (MRM), Communications and Knowledge Management team to harvest implementation experience and learnings.
∎ Managing a team of field coordinators, officers, short-term and long-term national and international consultants to ensure smooth planning and implementation.
∎ Manage national and international consultants engaged in the project.
∎ Work collaboratively with the communications officer and give necessary feedback for development of communication materials to highlight project achievement and ensure visibility of the project.
∎ Lead the program team in the process of selecting new TSP, partner, factory, vendor and work in collaboration with the BA team whenever necessary and ensure that selection processes are properly synchronized with SC policies.
∎ Represent BYETS project at different platforms, events.
∎ Other responsibilities as per need of the project.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 8 years of progressive professional work experience and at least 4 years of experience at strategic leadership role in managing complex private sector development project.
∎ Proven track record in designing, implementing and managing enterprise development, and/or market systems development/initiatives.
∎ Strong understanding of private sector-led skills development interventions, along with private sector development and business decision making processes.
∎ Must have experience in managing teams and ability to delegate tasks properly within team.
∎ Advanced communication skill in English (verbal, writing, listening and presentation skills) with excellent computer literacy in MS Office programs (specifically MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
∎ Demonstrated ability to develop constructive and supportive working relationship with senior government officials and private sector stakeholders.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills to be able to work with training service providers, commercial service providers, employers and factory management.
∎ In-depth understanding and network in the Ready Made Garment sector and Agro processing sector will be a preferred.
∎ Understanding of skills development sector and in-depth understanding of different skills development project implemented by government will be highly.
