This position requires strong hands-on experience in garments manufacturing finance, banking, LC & commercial, cashflow management, and business analysis. The role will work closely with senior management to support financial planning, control, and decision-making.
Oversee daily accounting activities and ensure accurate books of accounts.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
Ensure proper control of expenses, cost, and budgets.
Monitor actual cost vs budget and report variances.
Ensure timely payment of salaries, suppliers, and service providers.
Handle internal and external audits and ensure audit compliance.
Ensure compliance with Bangladesh accounting, VAT, and tax regulations.
Prepare and manage weekly and monthly cashflow statements.
Forecast cash inflow and outflow and ensure smooth fund availability.
Monitor working capital and identify cashflow risks in advance.
Coordinate with management to prioritize payments based on cash position.
Prepare financial forecasts (monthly, quarterly, yearly).
Prepare annual budgets and revise forecasts based on business changes.
Support management with financial projections for decision-making.
Conduct feasibility studies for new projects, buyers, machines, and capacity expansion.
Analyze profitability of new orders, programs, and investments.
Evaluate financial risks and returns before management approval.
Handle all banking activities including CC loan, OD, term loan, BBLC, and LCs.
Prepare and manage import and export documentation.
Coordinate with banks for LC opening, amendment, negotiation, and settlement.
Follow up on export proceeds realization.
Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.
Monitor production cost and overhead cost.
Support merchandising and management teams with financial input when required.
Identify opportunities for cost saving and efficiency improvement.
Lead and supervise accounts and commercial team members.
Ensure accuracy, discipline, and timely reporting by the team.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CA partly qualified is a plus).
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in garments or textile manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of accounts, finance, commercial, and banking operations.
Proven experience in cashflow management, forecasting, and feasibility analysis.
Hands-on experience with LC, BBLC, and export/import documentation.
Good Excel and reporting skills.
Good communication skills
Honest, analytical, and able to work under pressure.
