Experience:
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.
Partly qualified CA or ICMA candidates will be given preference.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal control procedures.
Experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost monitoring.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Accounting software.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in manufacturing or factory accounting will be an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance, preferably in plastics manufacturing or industrial organizations.
Primitek Group is looking for an Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance to support the financial operations of the factory. The role will assist in ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, budgeting, financial analysis, and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. The incumbent will work closely with the Accounts & Finance team to monitor operational financial performance, maintain financial records, and support management in financial decision-making.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in reviewing production reports and operational financial reports, including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
Support the preparation, collection, and verification of financial data, including general ledger entries, cash summaries, and factory financial records.
Ensure proper maintenance of financial documentation and adherence to internal control procedures.
Conduct financial analyses, including expense monitoring, profitability analysis, and budget performance reviews.
Verify bills, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and periodic financial reports.
Prepare monthly budget variance reports and highlight key financial deviations.
Monitor cash flow movements and support effective cash management activities.
Coordinate and supervise physical inventory counts and assist in inventory reconciliation processes.
Assist in inter-factory account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
Coordinate with production, procurement, stores, and other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Prepare financial reports, schedules, and analytical statements for management review.
Support internal and external audit activities by providing necessary documentation and information.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
