Job Context:
∎ We are currently hiring for the position of Senior Fashion Designer (Lifestyle & Retail) at our HQ, in the heart of Dhaka. Join our family and build an inspired career you`re proud of.
∎ The Senior Fashion Designer (Lifestyle & Retail) holds the accountability for developing seasonal collections from design concept through to prototypes up to SMS. The incumbent will be responsible for producing detailed tech packs and following the complete development of product from initial drawings to final sample, liaising with factories or in-house sampling team to follow progress according to established timelines, sourcing fabrics and trims, ordering raw materials and communicating with vendors to ensure price and delivery goals can be successfully achieved.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and execute creative and cohesive design concepts for the lifestyle and retail category.
∎ Stay up to date with current fashion trends, market demands, and competitor analysis to create designs that are relevant and commercially viable.
∎ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product development, sampling, merchandising, and marketing to ensure a seamless execution of design concepts.
∎ Create detailed technical sketches, specifications, and design boards to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts.
∎ Collaborate with fabric and trim suppliers to source materials that align with the brand's quality standards and design vision.
∎ Participate in the selection of colors, patterns, and materials for each collection, ensuring consistency with the brand's aesthetic and target market.
∎ Work closely with pattern makers and sample development teams to oversee the prototype development process and ensure the final product meets design specifications.
∎ Attend fashion shows, trade shows, and industry events to gain inspiration, network with industry professionals, and stay informed about the latest industry developments.
∎ Ensure projects are updated in the MIS after completion with all required information.
∎ Ensure sampling requests are made through MIS with proper techpacks.
∎ Arrange samples from the archive, store, and production from BUs to send out to customers.
∎ Maintain a spreadsheet of samples with picture/detail/price sent out to the sales team, customers, or management for marketing.
∎ Ensure proper presentation approach during customer meetings, from planning the showroom setup, keeping the right products in focus, creative and inspirational displays etc. ensuring the customer's total delight.
∎ Strategize process to make effective and innovative products to develop business with existing customers as well as look at new opportunities.
∎ Attend fashion shows, trade shows, and industry events to gain inspiration, network with industry professionals, and stay informed about the latest industry developments.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 years' relevant work experience in Design & Development within the Lifestyle & Retail category
∎ Must have excellent knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and technical specifications.
∎ Should have a solid understanding of materials, fabrics, and trims commonly used in lifestyle & retail fashion.
∎ Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
∎ Exceptional creativity, imagination, and artistic flair.
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail.
∎ Must be a self-starter with strong initiative and work ethics.

∎ Strong software abilities on Adobe CS6 Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop as well as Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
∎ Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate design concepts and ideas.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships work as a team.
∎ Should be presentable, smart, and energetic.
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
