Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have Masters with minimum CGPA 2.50 or 2nd class/ division or equivalent result in all academic examinations. (BSc/MS in Agriculture/ Agronomy will preferable)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Farm Management, Hybrid rice production
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist to prepare the budget and seeding plan, suitable block selection in different areas and follow up the crop field plot, ensure technical and management support
∎ Check the panicle initiation to adjust the male and female parent and conduct rouging for maintains genetic purity of seeds
∎ Select GA3 dose, spray properly and supplementary pollination on time
∎ Analysis the cost according to budget and take step to minimize the cost
∎ Ensure produce diseases free and black spot free (minimum 98 % genetic purity) hybrid rice seeds
∎ Manage labor and handle any kind of local problem
∎ Prepare report as per the requirement and share with management; Keep record of different data and ensure the security of all BRAC’s assets
∎ Staff development through counseling, meeting, training, coaching and ensure accountability of the staff and yearly assessment
∎ Analyse profit/loss and share the report with management; keep update all official documents
∎ Share the field information with supervisor; communicate with local stake holders like- local elite, GOs and NGOs
∎ Prepare report as per the requirement and share with management; Keep record of different data and ensure the security of all BRAC’s assets
∎ Check all the bills and vouchers and financial activity reports of production and submit to management for approval
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
∎ Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the respective authority
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Age, Education and Experience will be relaxed for the potential Candidates.
∎ Experience in relevant field will be given preference
∎ Knowledge on the modern technology of different varieties of hybrid seed production; prepare the budget; plan the program; design and manage the physiology of horticultural crop
∎ Excellent in work prioritization, time management as well as the ability to adapt to work under pressure and challenging environment
∎ Must have Communication, analytical ability, problem solving and report writing skill
∎ Must have using capabilities of MS Office
∎ Able to work under stress situation
