As a Senior Engineer/ Engineer your role will involve overseeing and performing high-level diagnostic, repair and maintenance tasks on various types of vehicles. Your key responsibilities will include:
Vehicle Diagnostics and Repairs:
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues in engine, transmission, braking and electrical systems.
Use specialized tools and diagnostic devices including engine scanners, ATF ex changer machines, AC service station machines, injector cleaners and tester machines, wheel balancer machines and 3D wheel alignment machines.
Technical Proficiency:
Perform advanced ECU programming, car key programming, gearbox calibration and other technical configurations.
Interpret diagnostic data and provide accurate recommendations for repairs and services.
Maintenance & Workshop Operations:
Ensure timely and efficient servicing of vehicles as per manufacturer standards.
Supervise junior technicians and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Customer Interaction:
Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical issues, service recommendations and cost estimates.
Build customer trust by demonstrating professionalism, transparency, and product knowledge.
Documentation & Reporting:
Handle job cards, create vehicle service estimates and manage entries using ERP systems.
Maintain detailed service reports and assist with warranty claims and service histories.
Team Collaboration & Training:
Mentor and train junior staff and technicians on new repair methods and technologies.
Stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies and continuously enhance personal technical skills.
