Experience:

• 8 to 10 years

• Age At least 28 years

• Creating / visualizing an idea and producing a design by illustrator & Photoshop;
• Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes;
• Working with others in the design team, such as buyers and forecasters, to develop products to meet a brief;
• Understanding design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns and technical specifications for designs;
• Adapting existing designs for mass production;
• Developing a pattern that is cut and sewn into sample garments and supervising the making up of these, including fitting, detailing and adaptations;
• Overseeing production;
• Knowledge on 3D design will added advantage;
• Amendments in designs;
• Understanding of garment make up skills;
• Working with in-house pattern maker and sample room for new Developments as well as duplicate salesman samples;
• Handled all types of knit & woven fabrics for Ladies, kids & men`s group;
• Reduce cost associated issues on developments;
• Directly involve in costing, sampling up to buyer approvals.
• Additional Requirements
• Age at least 28 years
• Should have strong interpersonal skills and leadership quality.
• Fluency in English and computer operation is mandatory.
• Must be self-motivated, energetic & capable to work under pressure.
