Minimum age requirement is 31 years.

A valid membership of the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) is mandatory.

Candidates should possess 6–8 years of professional experience in architectural design and project execution, while 10–12 years of experience will be preferred for the Senior Architect position. Prior project management experience will be considered an added advantage.

Strong proficiency in industry-standard architectural and visualization software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and other relevant 3D modeling/rendering tools is required.

Applicants must have a strong and professionally presented portfolio demonstrating expertise in architectural design, technical detailing, visualization, and project execution capabilities.

Sound understanding of construction methodologies, material applications, building systems, technical coordination, and execution processes is essential.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and technical information to clients, consultants, and internal teams.

• Design Leadership & Architectural Innovation: Develop innovative, functional, aesthetically refined, and environmentally responsible architectural solutions aligned with client expectations, project objectives, market standards, and organizational design vision. Ensure all concepts maintain an effective balance between creativity, practicality, cost efficiency, sustainability, and construction feasibility.

• Architectural Visualization & 3D Design Development: Lead the development of advanced architectural 3D models, photorealistic renderings, walkthrough animations, presentation graphics, and visualization materials using industry-standard software to effectively communicate design intent for client presentations, marketing purposes, and project approvals.

• Client Relationship & Presentation Management: Lead and actively participate in client meetings, presentations, design discussions, and coordination sessions to ensure clear communication, requirement alignment, and professional relationship management. Candidates must be willing to attend meetings beyond regular office hours when required, approximately 3–5 times per month.

• Project Monitoring, Site Supervision & Travel Coordination: Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and project reviews, including travel outside Dhaka when necessary, to monitor construction quality, technical compliance, execution accuracy, project progress, and adherence to approved architectural drawings and specifications.

• Technical Design & Construction Documentation: Prepare, review, and manage detailed architectural drawings, working drawings, construction documentation, authority submission drawings, technical specifications, BOQ support documents, presentation packages, and comprehensive design documentation with high accuracy and professional standards.

• End-to-End Project Management: Manage architectural projects from concept design through final completion and handover while ensuring project timelines, quality benchmarks, financial targets, technical standards, and client expectations are consistently achieved throughout all project phases.

• Design Development & Space Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine architectural solutions to enhance functionality, spatial efficiency, user comfort, circulation, aesthetics, sustainability, operational performance, and overall project value across schematic, design development, and execution stages.

• Multidisciplinary Engineering Coordination: Coordinate closely with structural, MEP, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire safety, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of building systems, technical compatibility, efficient execution, and conflict-free coordination throughout the project lifecycle.

• Regulatory Compliance & Authority Coordination: Lead the preparation of RAJUK submission drawings, FAR analysis, and all relevant authority documentation while ensuring complete compliance with BNBC requirements, zoning regulations, building codes, fire and safety standards, accessibility guidelines, and statutory regulations.

• Permit Processing & Government Liaison: Coordinate efficiently with government agencies, regulatory bodies, consultants, and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits, approvals, clearances, and compliance certifications within project timelines.

• Material Research, Specification & Cost Control: Research, evaluate, and recommend appropriate construction materials, finishes, fittings, and specifications considering durability, functionality, sustainability, aesthetics, market availability, and project budget while assisting in BOQ preparation, cost analysis, and financial monitoring.

• Construction Quality Assurance & Technical Evaluation: Monitor construction activities to ensure quality workmanship, compliance with approved drawings, material specifications, and project standards while identifying technical issues and implementing effective corrective solutions during execution stages.

• Risk Assessment & Project Documentation Management: Proactively identify architectural, technical, and construction-related risks, develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays and rework, maintain organized project records and archives, and ensure proper documentation management throughout all project phases.

• Post-Construction Review & Continuous Improvement: Conduct post-construction evaluations, project performance assessments, and design reviews to identify lessons learned, improve operational efficiency, enhance future project delivery standards, and support continuous professional and organizational development.
