Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Overall Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Financial Management:
∎ Oversee financial operations, including budget preparation, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting in compliance with donor requirements.
∎ Ensure timely processing of payments, disbursements, and reconciliation of accounts.
∎ Monitor project expenditures and maintain financial records accurately.
∎ 2. Administration and Logistics:
∎ Manage day-to-day administrative operations of the project office.
∎ Coordinate procurement processes, ensuring adherence to organizational and donor guidelines.
∎ Supervise office maintenance, logistics, and asset management.
∎ 3. Human Resources Management:
∎ Support recruitment processes, onboarding, and orientation of project staff.
∎ Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
∎ Facilitate staff training and development initiatives as required.
∎ 4. Compliance and Reporting:
∎ Ensure compliance with BNWLA's and donor's financial and administrative policies.
∎ Prepare periodic financial reports and assist in preparing project progress reports.
∎ Facilitate internal and external audits as necessary.
∎ 5. Coordination and Communication:
∎ Liaise with project stakeholders, partners, and government counterparts on administrative and financial matters.
∎ Provide support in organizing meetings, workshops, and events related to project activities.
∎ 6. Capacity Building:
∎ Conduct capacity building sessions for project staff on administrative, financial, and compliance matters.
∎ Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and integrity within the project team.
∎ Status: Contractual Full Time
