Job Context:
∎ Justice and Care works with the Law enforcement agencies to rescue victims of slavery, bring criminal networks to justice and spark systemic change. We restore lives, secure communities at risk from traffickers.
∎ Under the supervision of the Country Security Manager (CSM) and the Country Director, the Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the success of Justice and Care`s work by providing safe and secure transportation to staff traveling to remote and `at risk` areas of the county.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the Head of Security, Country Programme Director and RSM with monitoring the ongoing security landscape of Bangladesh, advising on live/developing threats which may affect our work
∎ Assist in the management and implementation of safety and security policies
∎ Accompany and provide close protection to staff traveling to remote and 'at risk' areas
∎ Assist in carrying out accommodation and travel risk assessments
∎ Assist in carrying out operational risk assessments
∎ Accompany and provide an emergency response contingency for organized trips from visiting staff and guests
∎ Assist in the maintenance, repair and upkeep of Justice & Care vehicles
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 2 years professional driving experience
∎ History of service in the police or armed forces
∎ Previous experience providing close protection to high profile individuals, government officials or 'at risk' personnel
∎ Good political and social knowledge of the country
∎ Certificate from defensive driving course, and experience driving manual vehicles on rough terrain
∎ Professional in demeanor, appearance and communication
∎ Positive and proactive attitude to work
∎ Exceptionally high level of honesty and integrity
∎ Intelligent, organized and creative problem solver
Salary: Tk. 50000 - 55000 (Monthly)
