Responsibilities & Context:
  • Ensure achievement of sales and collection targets for each depot in the region.

  • Meet product mix targets as per organizational goals.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, including Area Sales Managers, Senior Sales Officers, and Sales Officers.

  • Oversee the training and development of depot managers and sales staff.

  • Ensuring all vacancies are promptly filled, and ensure new recruits are properly inducted and trained.

  • Recognize and reward high performers, manage and phase out underperformers.

  • Expand and strengthen the distribution network and meet the spread targets set for every depot.

  • Implement business development initiatives aimed at enhancing brand recall and usage among applicators.

  • Plan and execute BTL demand generation activities to boost secondary sales and product demand.

  • Deploy manpower and marketing spend efficiently to maximize ROI.

  • Establish effective monitoring systems to track progress against goals and timelines.

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities.

  • Refine and adapt regional sales strategies based on market insights.

  • Prepare SKU-wise yearly, quarterly, and monthly sales estimates.

  • Communicate new product launches, schemes, and service offerings to channel partners.

  • Monitor and enhance channel partner performance through defined benchmarks and metrics.

  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of daily, weekly, and monthly regional reports and analyses.
