Responsibilities & Context:
Assist in arranging vehicles as per daily dispatch and delivery plans
Support supervision of loading and unloading activities at the depot
Ensure vehicles are dispatched on time as per approved delivery orders
Prepare and check transport documents such as trip sheets, challans, gate passes, and delivery notes
Maintain daily vehicle movement and trip records
Coordinate with drivers, transport vendors, warehouse, and distribution team
Monitor driver attendance, behavior, and compliance with company rules
Assist in tracking vehicle status and reporting delays or issues
Support depot transport officer in cost control and vehicle utilization
Immediately report accidents, breakdowns, or irregularities to supervisor
