Job Responsibilities:
∎ Processing and coordinating all local and overseas room bookings in the PMS within the guided lead time
∎ Ensure that all reservations related customer requests are replied efficiently within 24 hours according to the established guidelines and if necessary consult with Key Account Managers
∎ Oversee the whole reservation team in Dhaka and Cox’s Bazar, monitor their performance, general administration, and ensure flawless reservation sales support
∎ Ensure all standard hotel reservation policies are applied
∎ Direct manage rates & inventories of all domestic and international OTA’s and Web booking, including blackout dates and inventories
∎ Efficiently manage the productivity of Online Booking Channels and closely worked with DOSM on revenue management
∎ Managing reservation hotlines and fulfilling daily sales revenue target
∎ CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
∎ Effectively manage close-out situations and closely monitor dates that experience the demand to avoid any unmanageable overbooking situations
∎ Ensure all system updated reservation confirmation, correspondence filed in a proper manner daily basis
∎ Complete daily report on reservations changes
∎ Review all reservations entered into the PMS
∎ Controlling room inventory
∎ Conduct a detailed review of advance reservations for the following two weeks every Wednesday
∎ Manage group forecast and report to DOSM every Saturday
∎ Conduct Reservation meetings on every Saturday with DOSM
∎ Conduct final review of all reservations and ensure all transfers and credit information are obtained a minimum of 72 hours before the guest’s arrival
∎ Solve complaints from clients in regard to reservations and take immediate action
∎ To maintain knowledge of current rates, packages, and promotions and administer accordingly
∎ To review daily reservations for special requests, comments, or instructions and handle them appropriately
∎ To assist front office staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
∎ Keep FOM promptly informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance so prompt action can be taken
∎ Keep the good business relationships with OTA, tour operators, and travel agents
∎ Record all corporate contracts and sales documents
∎ Management reporting
∎ Carry out any other tasks that may be reasonably assigned to you.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent verbal and written English required
∎ Minimum five years of working experience in a reputed hotel/ resorts
∎ Experience in OTA management preferred
∎ Experience in hotel PMS (Property Management System)/ IDS Next preferred
∎ Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook Express, Microsoft Outlook
∎ Excellent communication skills required
∎ Ability to work independently
∎ Knowledge of the internet preferred
