Educational Requirements:
∎ MBBS/ Graduates of Master of Public Health (MPH)/ Social Science/ any other relevant subject from reputed national/international university.
∎ Graduates of Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master of Nutrition and Food Science (MNFS) programs from University of South Asia will be given preference

Job Context:
∎ CSF Global is an international organization engaged in advancing research and providing comprehensive services for establishment of rights-based inclusive societies for children with disability in low and middle-income countries. CSF Global aims to enhance the capacity of future public health researchers through practical learning in diverse aspects of public health research in LMICs. With this aim, CSF Global with collaboration from Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC) and `Norec exchange program` is calling for applications for a one year `Research Fellowship`.
∎ Home organization: CSF Global, Banani, Dhaka, Bangladesh
∎ Host organization: Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC), Ramsahpath, Kathmandu, Nepal
∎ Project name: Enhancing capacity on evidence-based programming on health.
∎ Project content: The exchange project is envisioned to develop a collective capacity of the participants in generating evidence in key health issues such as disability, and non-communicable diseases. The project also aims at enhancing competencies in health research ethics, research methodologies and knowledge management
∎ Duration of the fellowship: 13 months (12 October 2019 to 11 November 2020)
∎ Norec Training: The participants will have to attend two training programs (Norec training 1 & 2) organized by Norec in Bangkok.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Participant from CSF will work with NHRC on the areas of disability issues which will help NHRC to become acquinted with research methods in disabality issues to carry out community based reseach in diasablity in Nepal.
∎ Participants from CSF will work on synthesizing evidence on health and disability useful for policymakers of all two countries.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least one year working experience in public health research and/or program.
∎ Must be a Bangladeshi nationality
∎ Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
∎ Fluent in communicating in English
∎ Preferably have previous experience in scientific writing

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Financial support: The fellowship will cover the followings;
∎ Monthly allowance: 775 USD (Please note that you have to pay tax to your host country- Nepal)
∎ Housing and electricity
∎ Air fare for one time round trip (Bangladesh-Nepal-Bangladesh)
∎ Health Insurance
∎ Departure cost (e.g. visa assistance)
∎ Work permit, vaccinations
∎ Air fare, accomodation and food for participating Norec trainig part 1 & part 2 (to be held in Bangkok)
