Educational Requirements:
∎ Highly Qualified with Post-graduation preferably on International Relations, Economics, Business studies Social Science with adequate professional expertise on trade and economic development avenues.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Wide-ranging contemporary economic and business research for private sector development interests.
∎ Analysis, fact-finding and presentation of regional and global economic, trade and industrial state of the country.
∎ Communicating with all Foreign Missions of Bangladesh and Foreign Missions/International Organisations, development partners, donor agencies, trade promotion organisations both in home and abroad, International organisations for new projects and deals, Conference/B2B meetings, business events.
∎ Follow up and make cooperation with DCCI international linkages: Chamber of Commerce & Regional Cooperation's, Different wings of United Nations, International Organization for new projects.
∎ Manage and support a primary research and implementation of the research work, supervise survey, Collate, combine and analyse statistics on trade, industry, presentation on policy issues and survey findings.
∎ Analytical, creative writing on contemporary trade, economic topics for senior leadership for local and international events. Preparation of concept, position paper on key economic issues.
∎ Liaison with Government agencies and stakeholders for economic policy comments, inputs and opinion on different economic avenues, Speech /Position Paper on need based programs; Analysis bilateral issues; Representation in the Ministerial Meetings; Reporter in different programs of DCCI.
∎ Organising local and international seminars, conferences, dialogues.
∎ Ensuring timely and successful completion of all works and activities of the DCCI as directed by the DCCI Authority.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply.
∎ Age limit may be relaxed for experienced & deserving candidates.
∎ Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving and supervisory skills.
∎ Minimum 10 years' relevant experience of work in national, international organization, Trade promotion organization preferably in trade, industry and economic affairs with established local or international organisations.
∎ Proficient in written and verbal communication in English and Bangla.
∎ Efficient user of applied econometric and statistical software and tools.

Salary:
∎ As per organizational standard structure.
