Educational Requirements:
∎ Post-Graduate from reputed University preferably in Economics, Social Science, Business Studies, International Business, International Relations, and Development Studies.
∎ Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience preferably in trade, industry and economic affairs with established local or international organizations.
∎ Proficient in written and verbal communication in English and Bangla.
∎ Efficient user of applied econometric and statistical software and tools.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contemporary economic and business research for private sector development.
∎ Analysis, fact-finding, and presentation of global trade and economic state.
∎ Manage and support primary research and implementation of the research work, Collate, combine and analyze statistics on trade, industry, presentation on policy issues, and survey findings.
∎ Analytical, creative writing on contemporary trade, economic topics for senior leadership for local and international events. Preparation of concept, position paper on key economic issues.
∎ Liaison with Government agencies and stakeholders for economic policy comments, inputs, and opinions on different economic avenues, Speech /Position Paper on need-based programs, Analysis of bilateral issues, Representation, and reporting in Government and internal meetings.
∎ Build relations with foreign missions, stakeholders, development partners for shared economic interests.
∎ Organizing local and international seminars, conferences, dialogues.
∎ Ensuring timely and successful completion of all works and activities of the DCCI as directed by the DCCI Authority.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 42 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply.
∎ Age limit, experience, and criteria may be relaxed for deserving candidates
∎ Sound knowledge on contemporary local & global trade, business & economic affairs.
∎ Good communication, leadership, problem-solving and supervisory skills.
∎ Efficient users of applied econometric and social science statistical software and tools.
∎ DCCI in-house officials are not allowed to apply.

Salary:
∎ As per organizational standard structure.
