Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in any discipline of Arts and Social Sciences including Geography & Environment and Statistics with CGPA no less than 3.50 in both honors and masters. An appearance certificate will not be considered.
∎ Applicants with knowledge on SPSS, graphic design or other data analysis tools will get preference.
Job Context:
∎ The Centre for Genocide Studies (CGS), University of Dhaka is looking for hiring Research Data Analyst (RDA) for its` UNDP funded Bangladesh Peace Observatory (BPO).
∎ Job Location: CGS, University of Dhaka, Dhaka-1000
∎ Duration: One Year (extendable)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collect data from various news sources
∎ Work with a large secondary datasets
∎ Perform data standardization and data cleaning activities
∎ Visual and creative representation of data
∎ Contribute in report writing
∎ Support in organizing programs &
∎ Suitable tasks as assigned by the office
Additional Requirements:
∎ Applicants must have clear knowledge on SPSS/Excel and other applications of MS Office.
∎ Applicants must have publication/s (Journal/Online Article/ Report/ Popular Writing etc.) by name.
∎ Applicants having experience with qualitative and quantitative Data Analysis, and visual presentation of data using graphics software will be given priority.
∎ Language Skills: Proficient in English (Reading, writing, translation, and presentation).
Salary: Tk. 20000 - 36000 (Monthly)
