• At least four years in research and writing (data collection, data analysis, documentation, field supervision, field work, interviewing, report writing, editing, research design/analysis, survey design/planning, survey, transcription, etc.)

• Readiness to travel extensively in the project locations throughout the country.

• Good language and communication skills (English and Bangla).

• Team building and management skills.

• Computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).

Research associate willing to take challenge in the field of human rights with specific attention to the marginalized and excluded groups in Bangladesh under a 36-month project.

Job Description/Responsibility:

• Assisting the research team and different teams engaged in research, survey and investigations.

• Participating in survey, study and investigation in the field.

• Assisting in preparing questionnaire for survey and research.

• Working closely with program assistants and communities in identifying qualified field surveyors when needed.

• Assisting in the design of publications and productions.

• Data analysis (both qualitative and quantitative), writing research and investigative reports, editing and translating from English to Bangla and Bangla to English.

• Assist in resource management including dissemination of knowledge resource.

• Salary Range: Maximum Tk 50,000.00 after confirmation

• Other Benefits: Two yearly festival bonuses that is equivalent to one-month pay.

• Job location: Dhaka but will be required to travel extensively in the project locations.
