Job Context:
∎ OVERVIEW
∎ Life for a Child Program (LFAC) is an initiative of Diabetic Association of Bangladesh in collaboration with Diabetes New South Wales Australia (NSW) and International Diabetes Federation (IDF). It is an integrated approach of providing free comprehensive and sustainable healthcare to children with diabetes in Bangladesh. The overall goal of the project is to increase access to diabetes care for children with type 1 diabetes and as such help these children live better lives.
∎ We are currently seeking a full-time capacity RESEARCH ASSISTANT for a IN-PERSON for 21 MONTHS global research opportunity. We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Research Assistant to aid our project.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Report directly to Trial Coordinator.
∎ Provide information to participants on the study and be a point of liaison between participants and trial coordinator.
∎ Assist in insulin titration and monitoring of participant glycemic control.
∎ Ensure that participants return to clinic for appropriate intervals for collecting follow-up data (e.g., laboratory testing, completing surveys/questionnaires.
∎ Complete online study forms using a laptop, computer, or portable device (e.g., iPad)
∎ After training, be able to activate and place Continuous Glucose Monitor sensors, download sensor data, remove, and replace with new sensor.
∎ Travel to study participants' home every 14 days for 3 months to obtain CGM data.
∎ Distribute compensation payments to participants following each completed study milestone.
∎ Receive training and assist in the data collection for the qualitative (1:1 interview and focus group discussions), quality-of-life (surveys) and cost effectiveness sub-studies.
∎ Overall project management and assistance with other logistics and administrative tasks related to study.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Proficiency in written and spoken English
∎ Have had prior experience in obtaining consent (preferred)
∎ Complete human subjects research training requirement(s) per the local IRB.
∎ Desired Qualifications

∎ Knowledge of research methods
∎ Ability to work under pressure
∎ Excellent time management skills
∎ A degree in the field related to the study is preferred

Salary: Negotiable

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Reasonable Compensation : Festival bonus( s) which will be equal to one month compensation
