Job Context:
∎ RDRS Bangladesh is inviting application to fill the position of Rehabilitation Officer under WRU Project.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ A. Summary of Position:
∎ Under the overall responsibility and control, direct supervision and guidance of the Project Manager, Rehabilitation Officer is responsible to look after Rehabilitation and Community Awareness programme under the project.
∎ B. Description of Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Responsibilities:
∎ Manage, implement and delivery the activities according to work plan ;
∎ Manage and monitor project activities implemented by RDRS Bangladesh by regular field visit;
∎ Facilitate regular communication with and among various district and upazilla level stakeholder;
∎ Represent the program at meetings, workshops, seminars with stakeholders for effective dialogue and advocacy at district and upazilla level;
∎ Organize events/workshops/meetings/trainings in the district and upazilla level;
∎ Coordinate and liaise with primary and secondary stakeholders;
∎ Take and explore advocacy initiatives with all potential stakeholders to motivate them to think positively and explore their assistance for skill development training and social reintegration of VAW affected women and girls
∎ Coordinate and provide support to the Project Manager for overall project implementation.
∎ Attend to additional tasks assigned by management.
∎ 2. Tasks:
∎ Implementation, Monitoring and Advocacy
∎ Oversee the progress as per set target.
∎ Keep records of project related information and referral services.
∎ Organize/conduct meetings/workshops/events with various important stakeholders for awareness program, skill development support, rehabilitation, referral and social reintegration in her/his working area.
∎ Training and Reporting:
∎ Collect and compile reports. Take self lead to provide feedback as and where appropriate.
∎ Generate and submit monthly, quarterly reports along with Project Manager;
∎ Ensure appropriate documentation and information flow.
∎ Initiate self learning process to enhance level of knowledge and skills in the area s/he is responsible for.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 years working experience in development sector.
Salary: Tk. 35000 (Monthly)
