Educational Requirements:
∎ At Least SSC Passed
Job Context:
∎ Admission and registration of patients
∎ Control of the attendance
∎ Record of the patient exits
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Admission
∎ Receiving patients
∎ Regularly going through (observing, being alert) the waiting line identifying patients requiring priority examination and referring them to a medical assistant or doctor
∎ Seeing that the waiting line remains orderly
∎ Ensuring the availability of a shady area and water for the patients
∎ Registration
∎ Identifying patients and taking their administrative details
∎ Taking the patients' anthropomorphic measurements (weight, height, brachial perimeter) and noting them on the relevant documents (register, health card, etc.)
∎ Checking the vaccination status of all children less than 5 years old coming for a consultation (extent of check depends on the context - measles or all antigens), referring non-vaccinated children to the vaccination station
∎ Directing the patients towards the doctor, watching over the spatial organisation of the site and the regular flow of patients
∎ Monitoring:
∎ To record on the attendance-register book the daily attendance, the exits (cured, defaulter, death or transfer).
∎ To work closely with the outreach team: to inform them about the name and address of the defaulter, to check if after tracing the defaulters are coming back.
∎ To daily report to the supervisor the attendance in phase I and II, (to determine the daily quantity of food necessary to prepare) .
∎ To weekly fill and transmit to the supervisor the admissions and exits forms.
∎ KEEPING ACCURATE RECORD OF ALL PATIENTS ENTERING PHC
Additional Requirements:

∎ Languages: Mission language and local language essential
