Education:
    • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
  • FCPS / MD / MS / MPhil / PhD or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the relevant discipline.

  • Valid registration with the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC).

  • Experience RequirementsCandidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria for the respective position as prescribed by the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC), the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and the Affiliated University.

  • Teaching and clinical experience in a recognized medical college or teaching hospital is required.

  • Research publications in peer-reviewed journals will be considered an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive clinical services in the respective department under the guidance of senior consultants and faculty members.

  • Assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of inpatients and outpatients while ensuring high standards of patient care.

  • Conduct ward rounds, emergency duties, on-call responsibilities, and clinical procedures as assigned.

  • Supervise and guide intern doctors, medical officers, and postgraduate trainees in clinical practice.

  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records, medical documentation, and departmental reports.

  • Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, bedside demonstrations, seminars, journal clubs, and clinical discussions.

  • Assist in departmental research activities, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Participate in Continuing Medical Education (CME), workshops, seminars, conferences, and professional development programmes.

  • Maintain professional ethics, patient confidentiality, and compliance with BMDC regulations and institutional policies.

  • Perform any other clinical, academic, or administrative responsibilities assigned by the College or Hospital Authority.
