Additional Requirements:

• Age At least 25 years

• MBBS (Must have valid BMDC registration)

• Minimum 02 years practical experience in Surgery OT in a renowned hospital.

• Must have good computer skill.

• Hospital software literacy is preferred.

·         Being responsible to handle all patients of Surgery OT unit individually.

·         Contact with Consultant / Surgeons for OT confirmation, updating patients condition, discharge etc.

·         Conduct pre-operative evaluations, review investigation reports (CBC, CXR, ECG, coagulation profile, cross-matching) and ensure valid informed consent is signed.

·         Assist senior surgeons, consultants and specialists during emergency surgical procedure if needed.

·         Monitor patients in the Post-Operative Unit, manage immediate post-op complications and write detailed operative notes and post-op orders.

·         Perform minor surgical procedures (e.g., wound debridement, suturing, abscess drainage, catheterization) under supervision or independently as privileged.

·         Oversee strict adherence to aseptic techniques and sterilization protocols in alignment with hospital SOP.

·         Ensuring consistent and accurate documentation of medical records for all patients takes place.

·         Providing comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.

·         Maintaining confidentiality and respect patient dignity at all times.

·         Following infection control protocols and ensuring patient safety measures are in place.

·         Must be prepared to respond to emergency situations, if necessary.

·         Must hand over the responsibility to next duty doctor.

·         Maintaining & adjusting duty roster with other Medical Officers.

·         Ensuring that all healthcare regulations and safety standards are met.

·         It is mandatory to wear doctor's apron when on duty time.
