Job Context:
∎ This position will be responsible for the development and management of an industry leading factory social and environmental responsibility program for C&A, which will serve the C&A retail markets of Europe, Brazil, Mexico and China.
∎ It will also be responsible for the execution of the SSC program within Bangladesh, India, Pakistan & Sri Lanka.
∎ Primary areas of focus will be the program operational execution, organizational development, and stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities include auditing, corrective action management and capacity building throughout the supply chain. This is a key, highly visible management role responsible for driving execution of the strategy in alignment with the sourcing organization, and key internal cross-functional and other supply chain partners.
∎ Regional SSC Manager Lead all SSC operations for more than one locations.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implementation of Social and Environmental Sustainability program for C&A Sourcing in the designated region.
∎ Execute the capacity building strategies for supplier and production units within the region.
∎ Identify ongoing training needs and development opportunities for the SSC team within the region.
∎ Execute Audit, CAP Management and Capacity Building activities in line with program direction.
∎ Lead all SSC operations for the sourcing hub to develop the sustainable supply chain, reduce risk and improve performance.
∎ Ensure leading capabilities and resources are in place.
∎ Evaluate and manage performance of both internal auditors and third party service providers in the region.
∎ Handle region’s SSC performance and operational reporting. Provide supplier rating and performance reports with supporting data. Link with sourcing and ensure transparency of information.
∎ Build up the awareness of social and environmental compliance of other functions within the sourcing hub.
∎ Liaise, monitor performance and give regular feedback to third party organizations used within the region.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 10 years related experience in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Sustainable Development or Sourcing.
∎ 5 years in supplier auditing for factory social and environmental practices.
∎ Global experience across multiple regions
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
∎ Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
∎ Experience in the consumer product industry preferred, especially retailing.
∎ Embodies the highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics.
