Job Context:
∎ The Regional SCM Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all SCM steps in the field and region office. This includes Sourcing, Planning, Procurement, Vendor Management, Logistics & Distribution, Inventory & Warehousing, Monitoring and Reporting in the Regional of operation.
∎ The position is under Central Eastern Region (Dhaka, Sylhet & Chattogram) of World Vision Bangladesh and will be based in Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overseeing and implementing all SCM process at the field and regional office i.e. sourcing, planning, vendor management, logistics & Distribution, Inventory & Warehousing and Monitoring & reporting, capacity building.
∎ Managing all SCM process in planning, strategic sourcing, sourcing, planning, vendor management, logistics & Distribution.
∎ Inventory & Warehousing and Monitoring & reporting to achieve improved services and cost reductions.
∎ Developing and nurturing relationships with key suppliers.
∎ Manage establishment, tracking and reporting of benefits and key internal and supplier performance metrics.
∎ Develop and provide SCM performance reports to Management for enhancing decision making.
∎ Lead development of Consolidated Procurement Plans and manage development of implementation plan for SCM activities.
∎ Manage implementation of consistent and effective strategic sourcing process.
∎ Build and maintain successful working relationships with suppliers.
∎ Plan strategies for and lead negotiations with suppliers.
∎ Manage contract development with legal for key suppliers.
∎ Manage the supplier base, pre-qualification criteria and selection process. Identify and pre-qualify supply alternatives.
∎ Identify and implement cost savings opportunities for existing large and/or key contracts. Accomplish a gradual reduction of overall supply chain spending for supplier products and services.
∎ Implement effective Supply Chain Management process for non-critical items.
∎ Develop and maintain overall supplier quality management process, including policies, standards, measures and guidelines and manage corporate adherence to supplier management process.
∎ Update Warehouse Register and pass documents to central files for further processing.
∎ Conduct routine inventory inspection and submit report to the SCM Regional & Commodity Manager in a timely manner.
∎ Track and analyze Supply Chain performance against established target levels (KPIs).
∎ Provide leadership on Supply Chain Management policies and procedures.
∎ Processes requisition forms; recommends suppliers, prepares the PO and forwards for approval Develop and maintain standard forms and documentation including Terms and Conditions, Request for Proposals, Request for Information, etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Good Supply Chain Management expertise.
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills as he/she has to maintain very good relationships with different sets of people.
∎ Strong ability to address groups of people/stakeholders.
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Ability to work in a team.
∎ Basic computer literacy using of Microsoft Office Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Power Point & relevant other database program.
