Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader for the position of Regional Sales Head/ Sales Lead for our personal care business/FMCG business. This is a top management role responsible for leading the overall sales function, driving business growth, and strengthening market presence across Bangladesh.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and execute localized sales strategies that align with national business objectives to maximize regional revenue and profitability.
Break down annual regional targets into monthly and quarterly goals for Area Sales Managers (ASMs)/ Zonal In-charge (ZI), ensuring balanced growth across all product categories.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts and manage the regional sales budget, including trade spending and operational expenses.
Analyze data (Market Share, Numeric vs. Weighted Distribution) to identify growth opportunities and increase the brand’s footprint in underserved areas.
Identify, appoint, and onboard new distributors while optimizing the existing network to ensure 100% market coverage.
Regularly audit distributor operations, including stock levels, rotation (FIFO), credit limits, and payment collection (DSO) to ensure a healthy channel ecosystem.
Build and maintain high-level relationships with key retail partners and major distributors to ensure long-term business sustainability.
Evaluate and implement the most cost-effective and efficient delivery routes to maximize retail outlet reach at minimal cost.
Ensure "On-Shelf Availability" and implement visibility standards (merchandising, shelf-strips, window displays) through the field force.
Execute and evaluate regional trade schemes and consumer promotions, monitoring their effectiveness and ROI.
Conduct regular performance reviews and "Joint Field Work" with team members to mentor them and provide on-the-ground coaching.
