Educational Requirements:
∎ Incumbent should be B. Sc or M. Sc in Agriculture/Crop Botany/ Post Graduate in any discipline from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Marketing, Sales
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Able to build up strong leadership and teamwork skills among each other.
∎ Developing market for Metal Seeds of Hybrid & OP varieties of vegetables, rice and maize seed; increasing sales within the defined territory.
∎ Should have technical knowledge on Hybrid and OP seed and its contribution to crop production and productivity.
∎ Deal with different dealers and distributors for best sale net work.
∎ The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supervising sales & distribution of the region.
∎ Forecast for Sales and collection, plan consequently to meet the assigned targets.
∎ Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and sales-recovery commitment of staff/officer to the achievement of Territory/Region objectives and targets.
∎ Monitor daily sales tracking and sales variance.
∎ Frequent market visit and market opportunity assessment.
∎ Dealer’s motivation and their performance evaluation.
∎ Provide report on target, performance and justification for business outcome.
∎ Regular reporting to the top management on periodical sales performance.
∎ Preparing monthly/ annual sales budget.
∎ To perform any other assignment as assigned by the concern authority in time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 32 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Should have minimum 03 years practical experience in sales and marketing of Agri-Business/ insecticide/ pesticides.
∎ Should have excellent business relation with seed dealers, retailers, venders, traders, public & private sectors and NGO's.
∎ Proven writing skills.
∎ Advance computer knowledge especially MS-Office, Ms-Excel & Power Point.
∎ Ability to work independently, self motivated and work to tight deadlines.
∎ Strong communication skills and having excellent command of English.
∎ Can do attitude.
Salary: Negotiable
