∎ Diploma in Refrigeration and air Conditioning in Mechanical Engineering, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To conduct repair and maintenance of trailers refrigeration units and tractor cab air conditioning system in a safe manner and to defined standards.
∎ Carryout recommended maintenance schedules on refrigeration units and air conditioning systems as detailed at proper intervals.
∎ Diagnose and rectify associated problems.
∎ Check units and report on suitability to maintain product within the laid down specifications. Overhaul associated systems such as compressors, three way valves and expansion valves etc.
∎ Read and understand technical data and manuals .Downloading of information in reefer units & tractors using manufacture recommended diagnosing equipment.
∎ Report difficulties, problems or unsafe systems of work to superiors.
∎ Assist in the training and development of new employees.
∎ Carry out repairs against the budget economically.
