- Candidates with good construction knowledge in any reputed construction company will be preferred.
Responsibilities & Context:
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labor, and other relevant factors.
Identify opportunities for cost savings through value engineering while maintaining project quality and specifications.
Monitor and control project costs, analyze variations, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
Assess and manage potential risks related to project costs, providing proactive solutions to mitigate financial impacts.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project costs, contracts, and financial transactions.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination on cost-related matters.
Prepare and check bills, estimates, reconciliation statements, and BOQs.
Conduct quantity takeoffs and produce Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for various construction elements.
Perform rate analysis based on DSR, abstract invoices, and material bill reconciliations.
Prepare BOQs and bills with item rates from tenders.
Prepare and process subcontractor bills.
Take measurements from site engineers.
Review the listed quantities of items.
