Educational Requirements:
∎ Master’s degree from reputed university. Preference will be given who have Diploma on Environmental Health Management / Public Health / Health and Hygiene etc.

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Development Agency, NGO

Job Context:
∎ COVID-19 risk reduction support to the vulnerable communities in Teknaf and Ukhiya, Cox`s Bazar.
∎ The duration of the contract will be until March, 2021.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assess the needs and resources required for project’s COVID-19related hygiene awareness(HA) activities, plan an appropriate integrated response for contribute to reduce COVID-19 risk.
∎ Plan, designand manage the implementation of hygiene promotion measures to address priority public health risks according to the agreed plan, and complimentary to physical sanitation measures, to meet the needs in COVID-19 risk reduction.
∎ Assist to senior colleagues for organizing and conducting the Training/Workshop, meeting, distribution of Hygiene Kit (HY kit) etc.
∎ Assist to Field Engineer and relevant colleagues for implementation of WaSH activities in Host and Camp area.
∎ Assessment of Existing WaSH facilities for repairing and maintenance at Host community and assist to Technical Person of the project for its repairing and maintenance.
∎ Assist in conduction of sensitization meeting with LGI and continue commutation with them to share update information/Progress of the project.
∎ Mobilize communities, where appropriate, to participate fully in this program.
∎ Supervise and provide technical support in condition of hygiene awareness group discussion event, mass campaign, hygiene kit (HY kit) distribution and disinfection of WaSH facilities by volunteers.
∎ Monitoring the WaSH Facilities status, reporting and making the plan of actions for HA activities, disinfection of WaSH facilities and distribution of HY kit.
∎ Assist programme personnel in implementation of capacity building and community engagement related activities in the field.
∎ Use participatory approaches as far as possible throughout the program cycle, in training, and in the use of toolkits and other materials.
∎ Monitor the impact of HA activities and provide regular, timely and accurate narrative, statistical and financial information for inclusion in different types of reports.
∎ Assess the actual WaSH related gap in relation to the project intervention and provide support to the targeted community to improve the situation as per project plan.
∎ Ensure quality, quantity and agreed time frame for field level implementation of approved activities following the organizational instruction.
∎ Ensuring report & findings are communicated effectively through close collaboration with the project team.
∎ Uphold humanitarian code of conduct and adhere to and promote humanitarian guiding principles.
∎ Comply with NGO Forum for Public Health's policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, gender & equality, humanitarian responsiveness and other relevant policies.
∎ Perform other official tasks, as and when required, for the greater interest of the project/organization.
∎ Follow and maintain the disciplines properly as mentioned in the Service Rules of NGO Forum.
∎ Work in truespirit of teamwork and preserve personal integrity and respecting the organizational hierarchy of accountability.
∎ All other tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Fair knowledge on Rohingya Refugee context including WaSH intervention in emergency/humanitarian situation.
∎ Sound knowledge on using different IEC/BCC materials in different sessions and different approaches of communication.
∎ Ability to work hard, work under pressure in humanitarian response context, positive and can-do attitude and ability to understand local language.

Salary: Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
