• 5+ years of direct clinical experience in psychotherapy and counselling (CBT, DBT, TA, Family / couple counselling, addiction counselling, etc.)

• Supervision certification is highly preferred.

• Strong therapeutic and testing skills.

• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

• Comfortable in using EMR systems.

• Dedication to providing empathetic, patient-centric care.

The Psychological Counsellor you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and effective mental health support to individuals seeking counselling services. The primary responsibility will be to assess, diagnose, and provide counselling to clients while working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to enhance the overall mental health services offered. The ideal candidate will hold a MPhil or Master's degree in clinical/counselling psychology coupled with experience in delivering therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand admitted clients' psychological and emotional needs and determine appropriate treatment plans based on assessments.

• Provide one-on-one counselling sessions to individuals dealing with a variety of mental health issues in both OPD and IPD.

• Educate clients on mental health topics, coping strategies, and self-help techniques.

• Provide information on resources and support networks available within and outside the organisation.

• Respond promptly to crisis situations, providing immediate support and coordinating with the Director clinical services/ In house consultant for further interventions.

• Implement crisis management protocols and ensure the safety and well-being of clients.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, occupational therapists, In house consultant, RMOs, Nurses, PCAs to provide holistic care to clients.

• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of client records.

• Maintain proper documentation of assessment findings, intake notes, formulation, treatment plans, progress notes and termination notes.

• Stay informed about current research, therapeutic techniques, and developments in the field of clinical psychology.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance counselling skills.

• Perform any other relevant activities as and when required.
