Educational Requirements:

- B.Sc. / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Experience Requirements:

- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in building construction projects

- Experience in developer companies will be highly preferred

- Experience in projects under Cantonment Board / Government Authorities will be an added advantage

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of architectural and structural drawings

- Proficiency in AutoCAD and related engineering software

- Skilled in site setting-out and surveying instruments

- Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills

- Sound knowledge of construction materials and methods

Job Responsibilities:

Technical Supervision & Site Management:

- Supervise daily construction activities and ensure proper execution

- Perform accurate setting out (levels, alignment, layout)

- Ensure all works are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications

Quality Assurance & Quality Control (Strict Compliance):

- Ensure all construction work strictly complies with:

- BNBC (Bangladesh National Building Code)

- Cantonment Board Building Rules & Regulations (Jolshiri Abashon Project Area)

- Closely monitor reinforcement, shuttering/formwork, and concrete casting

- Inspect and approve materials before use

- Maintain QA/QC documentation, reports, and checklists

- Take immediate corrective actions for any deviation

- Ensure high-quality workmanship at every stage

Regulatory Compliance & Approval:

- Ensure all works comply with approvals from Jolshiri Abashon Authority / Cantonment Board

- Maintain documentation for inspections and approvals

- Coordinate with authorities during site inspections

Progress Monitoring & Reporting:

- Prepare and maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR)

- Monitor project timelines and milestones

- Report progress, issues, and risks to management

Site Safety & Compliance:

- Enforce strict safety protocols and site discipline

- Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits

Resource Management:

- Coordinate materials, manpower, and equipment efficiently

- Ensure timely material supply and minimize wastage

Technical Coordination & Problem-Solving:

- Resolve on-site technical issues effectively

- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and consultants

Additional Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of BNBC and Cantonment Board regulations

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Strong commitment to strict quality control

- Honest, proactive, and responsible
