Experience:
Minimum university graduates in English, social science or any other relevant subject.

About Uttaran & Project Context
Uttaran is a national development organization that has been working in the coastal regions of Bangladesh since 1985 to uphold people’s rights, promote social justice, and improve the socio-economic conditions of poor and disadvantaged communities. Over the years, Uttaran has remained committed to enhancing healthcare access for vulnerable populations, particularly those facing the growing risks of climate change.
In partnership with ACF Bangladesh, Uttaran is implementing the Community-Led Approach for Adaptation and Resilience against the Health Impact of Climate Change (CARE) Project in the southwestern region of Bangladesh. This initiative empowers communities to identify hazards, collect and analyze local data, and disseminate early warning messages. It also focuses on establishing community health information hubs, strengthening the capacity of local actors to prepare for and respond to climate-induced health risks, and developing and endorsing health protocols and SOPs for anticipatory actions. In addition, health service providers are being trained to manage diseases that are increasingly linked to climate change.
To support this important initiative, Uttaran invites applications for the position of Project Officer under the Community-Led Approach for Adaptation and Resilience against the Health Impact of Climate Change (CARE) Project.
Position Overview
The Project Officer will play a key role in field monitoring, managing field staff, organizing events, preparing reports, documenting best practices and success stories, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and donors. He/she will also ensure proper management of project photos, videos, and other documentation.
Key Responsabilités
The key responsabilités for this role may include the following but are not limited to:
Monitor and oversee project activities at the field level to ensure effective and timely implementation.
Supervise and guide field staff to maintain quality and efficiency in all project operations.
Compile regular progress reports, case studies, and activity documentation highlighting achievements and challenges.
Gather and write success stories from the field that reflect project impact and learning.
Capture and document best practices and lessons learned for dissemination among internal and external stakeholders
Produce short video documentaries showcasing project activities, outcomes, and beneficiary experiences.
Support the organization of meetings, workshops, and community events, including logistics and coordination.
Assist the Communication and Project Management teams with research, data collection, and reporting as required.
Ensure compliance with organizational and donor guidelines in all documentation and communications.
Salary - BDT 35,000 BDT & Mobile & Internet Allowance: BDT 1,000 BDT
