The Project Officer, Training and Field Supervision, role involves executing of project plans, conducting technical capacity building training, inputs distribution, assisting cash distribution, managing day-to-day activities, coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and reporting. The role focusing on turning strategies into tangible results by overseeing tasks, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring projects meet objectives and quality standards. Key duties include project implementation at beneficiary level, tracking performance, solving issues, and collaborating with teams to deliver successful project outcomes. Often focusing on beneficiary selection, conduct training, inputs distribution, establish homestead garden, mushroom production, poultry rearing, aquaponic and hydroponic farming at camp level
Field Implementation and Beneficiary Support
• Conduct comprehensive camp-level surveys to identify and select eligible beneficiaries in line with project criteria.
• Establish and regularly follow up on homestead vegetable gardens, poultry, fish and pigeon rearing units, mushroom production houses, and aquaponic and hydroponic systems.
• Conduct regular household visits to monitor progress, identify challenges, and provide practical solutions.
Training and Capacity Building
• Facilitate capacity-building training sessions for beneficiaries on homestead gardening, poultry and livestock rearing, fish culture, and climate-resilient production practices.
• Provide hands-on technical training and post-training follow-up to optimize production and sustainability.
• Provide guidance and continuous mentoring support to Rohingya mentors to ensure quality implementation.
Input, Cash Distribution, and Financial Documentation
• Coordinate the distribution of agro-inputs and production materials to beneficiaries as per approved plans.
• Assist in cash-for-work and cash support activities by maintaining proper documentation, muster rolls, and supporting documents.
• Organize, verify, and submit financial records and bills to ensure timely and accurate adjustments.
Market Linkage and Value Chain Support
• Support seedling and sapling growers to scale up production and establish sustainable market linkages.
• Engage Rohingya vegetable aggregators to facilitate produce collection and linkage with Fresh Food Corners or local markets.
• Track beneficiary participation in market linkage activities and income generation initiatives.
Monitoring, Reporting, and Documentation
• Consolidate field-level data and contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly project progress reports.
• Maintain accurate records of household visits, training sessions, input distribution, and cash support activities.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by supervisors or higher management in line with project needs.
Safeguarding
• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
