Job Context:
∎ SOHAY is a national non-government, not for profit, social development organization is looking for a young and energetic Project Officer for its "Violence against Women, girls and children project" funded by ManusherJonno Foundation.
∎ SOHAY is looking for the individual who is interested to develop his/her career in Programme, knowledge and Management level. The post will offer ample scope of learning the Programme development and management tasks in different context which will help the incumbent to develop and grow in the area. The job will help the incumbent to learn a lot on working with and the development of impoverished communities.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Guide, coach, mentor, supervise and appraise the Project Facilitators under his/her disposal.
∎ Ensure quality work at the field level.Maintain professional relationships with the project related stakeholders.
∎ Experience on team management, Right to Information, Gender based Violence, Protect early marriage, Woman Human rights, Adolescence, Youth, livelihood & food security etc.
∎ Establish and maintain close working relationship with the Government, NGOs and donors to foster a learning environment through the project implementation process.
∎ Participate in project activities and need based emergency response through online (e.g. Skype/ZOOM/TEAMS).
∎ Actively coordination and communication with different service providers i.e. union Parishad, Social Support Committees, One stop crisis cell, Thana, Legal aid Office, etc.
∎ Entitlements taking all safety measures of COVID-19.
∎ Ensure the awareness raising/sensitize communities through message dissemination using different communication channels.
∎ Assist Project Coordinator (PC) to implement the Programme and to prepare different reports.
∎ Attend and Organize various training, meeting, Seminar, workshop etc.
∎ Read different document, HR manual, financial policy or other policy as per need and update with changes information.
∎ Share the knowledge with the supervisors and others for feedback and development. Respect, maintain and monitor code of conduct practice.
∎ In addition to that any other duties and responsibilities may assigned by the authority / organization which need to be carried out.
∎ Ensure all routine data collection is carried out and submitted with accuracy and in a timely
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ At least 05 years relevant job experience.
∎ Skill and experience to deliver activities on time.
∎ Skill in planning, implementing and budgeting.
∎ Computer knowledge on MS Office, MS Excel and Power Point.
∎ Provide Skype/Zoom/other online platform user ID.
∎ Has demonstrated abilities in working with project strategic planning.
∎ Has strong team management skill.
∎ Has knowledge on community mobilization activities.
∎ Have able to drive motorcycle and will have valid driving license.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 23100 (Monthly)
∎ Plus other admissible benefits as per project budget and organization policies.
