Job Responsibilities:
∎ The job holder should have clear knowledge of basic accounting and finance. The job holder is responsible to lead the Finance and Administration sections. S/He in consultation with the Executive Director and respective Programme Manager will run the office. The job holder will ensure that the financial and administrative tasks of SOHAY are done as per organization policies and procedures, and agreement with the development partners.
∎ The specific expectations from the post but not limited to:
∎ Report to the Executive Director and Programme Manager of respective project.
∎ Prepare and execute both the organization and programme financial plan and budget as agreed by the Executive Director, Programme Manager and the development partners.
∎ Maintain day to day financial and administrative functions of SOHAYs Projects. Update ledgers, bank documentations and other personnel and administrative documents.
∎ Payroll management & tax deduction.
∎ Analyze the program expenditure, burn rate and provide necessary feed back to project coordinator/Executive Director in monthly coordination meeting.
∎ Ensure organisation procurements are done as per policy, ensure all documents are chronologically organized and stored and ensure the Govt. vat & tax policies are rightly followed.
∎ Keep good relationship and communication with the NGOAB, bank & any other financial officials.
∎ Supervise finance & administrative staff and provide necessary capacity development training for them. Ensure the programme team staffs are all fully aware of the organizational financial policies and procedures.
∎ Monitor and Control all personal management activities and finance and administration tasks.
∎ Prepare monthly and other periodic financial statements and reports according to the need of donor, government and management.
∎ Make sure the organizational financial audits are done as soon as possible beginning of the year.
∎ Cooperate with external and internal auditors and implement the auditor's recommendations.
∎ Regular review and update SOHAY finance procedure & manual.
∎ Any other task assign by the Executive Director.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 16000 - 19000 (Monthly)
∎ This is the full amount SOHAY could pay the candidate. The candidate can speak during the interview with the board about his or her desire salary.
