Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Reported to: Assistant Project Coordinator
∎ Duty station: Ukhiya, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh
∎ Oversee and support the implementation of the SASA! Together methodology for community leaders, local activists and institutional allies, ensuring alignment with project goals.
∎ Facilitate training sessions to the CL, LA and IAs on the SASA! Together methodology using established training modules.
∎ Monitor sessions conducted by Community Leaders (CL), Local Activists (LA), and Institutional Allies (IA) to assess and track changes within the community.
∎ Adapt SASA! Together toolkits and methodologies to suit the specific needs of the local context.
∎ Assist in data collection activities, including inputting information into the KoBo tool, conducting focus group discussions (FGDs), community assessments, surveys, and consultations in camps.
∎ Work closely with community leaders and activists to prevent violence against women and promote gender equality.
∎ Implement training programs and workshops for institutional strengthening with a focus on GBV prevention and risk mitigation.
∎ Actively contributes to developing and implementing activities that address safeguarding standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
∎ Have a strong commitment to gender equality, GBV prevention, the inclusion of gender-diverse populations and economic empowerment of women and youth.
∎ Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor to ensure effective program implementation.
∎ Draft and submit weekly and monthly reports for project and camps, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely completion.
∎ Maintain comprehensive and organized records of activity observations, community changer trackers, training sessions, and assessments.
∎ Collaborate with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team to ensure accurate data collection, documentation, and analysis of project outcomes.
∎ Compile reports for donors, management, and stakeholders, ensuring they meet organizational and donor requirements.
∎ Ensure all documentation complies with safeguarding and ethical standards.
∎ Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members to ensure smooth implementation of activities
∎ Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and updates, ensuring clear and timely information flow.
∎ Liaise and maintain strong communication with community leaders, activists, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth program operations.
∎ Build and maintain relationships with CiC, site management, service providers, and protection actors to enhance GBV prevention efforts.
∎ Represent the organization in meetings with donors and other stakeholders, providing updates on program progress.
∎ Facilitate clear and effective communication within the team to ensure proper coordination of activities
∎ Supervise volunteers and designated Camp Associate Officers to ensure effective implementation of their responsibilities.
∎ Provide need-based mentorship and guidance to volunteers and team members, strengthening their capacity through knowledge sharing and skills development.
∎ Identify gaps in team performance and address them through formal and informal orientation sessions.
∎ Monitor the performance of team members and provide constructive feedback to improve outcomes.
∎ Foster a supportive and collaborative work environment to enhance team effectiveness
∎ Act as a role model by embodying Feminist Leadership Principles in daily work and team interactions.
∎ Foster team awareness and create a supportive environment for adopting Feminist Leadership Principles.
∎ Actively promote anti-racism practices and ensure personal and team actions reflect this commitment
