Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

This position will be responsible for all kind of supplies at the facility and assistance all non-technical activities at facility.

  • Gap addressing on Non-clinical issue at PHC/HP and improve triage management

  • Facilitate timely indenting and supply of medicine and logistics to strengthen supply chain management and Ensuring disposal of goods and equipment on times

  • Ensure uninterrupted power supply, power back-up in assigned PHC & HP

  • Maintenance and monitoring of food supply chain from the vendor and patients records

  • Maintenance of fire safety and assign person communication with safety drilling

  • Ensure disposal of goods and equipment on times

  • Providing the supply chain needs/requirements of the PHC/HP including procuring all program supplies and services, accounting for all PHC /HP asset

  • Daily Monitoring PHC/HP store records of all goods that are received.

  • Closely working with WASH engineer to make sure the environmental controls are in a proper place like making placenta kit, hand wash station, incinerator an implementation and how to use it at the primary health care center and health post.

  • Closely working with Construction engineer to make sure the any repairing the PHC and HP.

  • Monitoring inventory of medical and non-medical field supplies with registers of all incoming and outgoing materials. And ensuring PHC/HP store rooms are organized with ledgers, files, stock and bin cards, and relevant documents for spot checks are in place with up to date information at the hospital.

  • Repairing all medical logistics at PHC & HP

  • Monitoring and guide health support staff and maintain inter- sectorial collaboration

  • Support the construction and maintenance of the PHC & HP

  • Monitoring the store rooms are organized and ledgers, files, stock and bin cards, inventories and spot checks documents are up to date and available on file at the site;

  • Anticipate and draft purchase or stock requests depending on the needs of the facility

  • To ensure all support to the field, coordinate with finance, logistics and procurement department

  • Manage administrative and logistics related contract for purchasing goods and service

  • Support in preparation of admin & logistics related budget and in financial work

  • Ensure Bill Voucher payment, IOU payment with maintaining proper process and compliance

  • As member of the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Committee, supporting the development, and following up the Infection Control Action Plan on a regular basis and cross-checking the consumption and the quality of IPC materials and equipment, including cleaning materials and equipment, PPE, etc. and to make sure proper supply from warehouse.

  • Represent and at times act as the Field liaison in any forum including meeting with government official (CIC, RRRC) donors, partners and other Bangladeshi authorities.

  • Ensure the safety act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment. Practice, promote the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

    Safeguarding:

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
