Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure the implementation of activities defined by the Project Manager/Coordinator - Nutrition in coordination with the Operation and Logistics departments.
∎ Develop plan of work for CMAM, CMAMI, IYCF, Blanket Supplementary Feeding and outreach activities according to the expected progress of the project.
∎ Evaluate and update project needs (Financing, logistics) at center level
∎ Ensure sound monitoring of program activities and monitoring team at center based & field level
∎ Provide advanced word processing support by creating complex spreadsheets, maintaining databases, and creating high quality reports, presentations, and other documents
∎ Compile and submit weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports
∎ Involve in the preparation of key IYCF and health messages in reference to the existing health and nutrition education materials
∎ Regularly organize evaluation meetings with team members
∎ Organize monthly meetings with the team and report the outcome to the Project Manager-Nutrition
∎ Supervise admission of patients to OTP, TSFP, BSFP and IYCF Corner
∎ Supervise treatment and progress of admitted beneficiaries
∎ Ensuring IYCF education and counselling is disseminated to the target beneficiaries
∎ Ensuring adherence to and respectful to current protocols
∎ Analyzing nutrition situation and prevailing trends
∎ Compiling statistical data and draft appropriate reports on activities
∎ Document lessons learned and best practices at the project level
∎ Checking that all the supplies are listed in the register
∎ Participate in the follow-up of supplies consumption and orders
∎ Ensuring that stock levels are sufficient for the functioning CMAM facilities and Blanket Supplementary feeding program (weekly, biweekly or monthly)
∎ Make monthly physical inventory of all nutrition supplies.
∎ Raising relevant requests for supplies and stock well prior in time to prevent exhaustion of stocks and supplies for interventions.
∎ In liaison with the Project Manager - Nutrition, establishing network with the other actors in the area.
∎ Develop productive working relationships with Donors, Government, Non-Governmental institutions and other project partners
∎ Establishing linkage with community leaders and representatives
∎ Participate in the relevant cluster meetings and other related forum at camp or upazila level as and when requested by the project manager
∎ Conduct regular meetings with other program staffs to discuss and document lessons learned
∎ Assist in organization of project workshop, trainings and seminars, including preparation of short reports
∎ Responsible for Identify SAM children with continuous follow up as well as refer to the appropriate SC center in the existing/nearby camp.
∎ Responsible for collection, compiling and preparing daily, weekly and monthly progress report and also timely submit report to the Project Manager
∎ Solve the problem arising from any conflicts among the staff.
∎ Maintain liaison with CIC, Block/Sub Majhi & all Community Partners in camp situation.
∎ Coordination and collaborations Work in close collaboration and coordination with UNHCR & WFP field staffs.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least one year experience in Nutrition Field in the Rohingya Camp.
∎ Good knowledge on report writing and database
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision.
∎ Demonstrated skills in clinical planning and decision making.
∎ Demonstrated effective skills in leadership, communication, team building and conflict resolution.
∎ Ability to work with people of various backgrounds, culture and religion.
∎ Ability to work under pressure, be flexible in challenging situation.
