∎ Masters degree in any discipline, Master of Development Studies (MDS), Master of Social Science (MSS), Master of Arts (MA) in Education

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordination with local Stockholder-20%
∎ Advocate for the project interventions at different levels (Union, Upazila, district).
∎ Liaise with partners, government representatives, national and international NGOs to ensure smooth implementation of the project activities
∎ Participate in the different meetings at Upazila and district levels. (NGO Coordination etc.)
∎ Involve with relevant local administration and committees
∎ Work alongside staff to build their capacity in program planning and design; program management; monitoring and evaluation
∎ Ensure transparent coordination mechanisms and regular information-sharing between IR Staffs.
∎ Attend Programme Review Meeting and coordinate with the other IRB staff based in Dhaka and others.
∎ Organize lesson learning workshops for further organizational development.
∎ Organize project exit meetings at the community level and with LGIs.
∎ Support to Collect successful project completion letters from relevant authorities.
∎ Ensure strong accountability to provide the necessary support to the beneficiaries as outlined in the PP
∎ Conduct Inception meeting with Union, Upazila, and District administration.
∎ Follow up in the different meetings and training.
∎ Coordination & networking with local stakeholders.
∎ Supervise to conduct meeting with UNO, DC, and endorse the selected location of intervention and beneficiaries.
∎ Develop need-based IEC training materials, leaflets, billboards, etc as effective communication materials
∎ Coordination & communication with project stakeholders, GOs, NGOs, private sectors, CBOs, Service providers & IRCO representatives.
∎ Facilitate other NGOs in the working area/region for replication and exchange learning sharing.
∎ Organize & conduct the meeting, seminar, workshop with project stakeholders, GOs, NGOs at local levels
∎ Conduct rights related advocacy & networking with relevant stakeholders
∎ Planning for project Activities-20%
∎ As the leading position, the person has to have strong leadership, management, coordination, representation & expertise in reporting skills.
∎ Prepare a Project activity plan to complete the project in time
∎ Responsible for all field management/operations and implementation of project interventions.
∎ Organize and supervise the staff field movement to achieve the project goal in time.
∎ Ensure the effective complaint, response, and feedback mechanism to ensure transparency and accountability.
∎ Technical support to the project staff is required with documentation, implementation and to enhance quality reporting.
∎ Regular follow up & track the progress of different project interventions
∎ “Do no harm” policy in the aspect of tools, guidelines, models, rules & regulations, donor guidelines, and other compliances as well.
∎ Playing as a Project focal point of the program like gender, safeguarding, safety security, and media and communication.
∎ Project Implementation-40%
∎ Prepare implementation plan following the PP and allocated budget
∎ Supervise the school and student selection procedures in the project location
∎ Undertake initiatives for the implementation of different types of activities at the school level
∎ Monitoring project activities at the school level
∎ Ensure the quality of project activities following with approved monitoring checklist
∎ Estimate and budget for implementing project activities in the field
∎ Assist to supervisor to conduct donor visit
∎ Support for the Procurement of materials like requisition, quotation collection, etc
∎ Ensure hygiene facilities at targeted schools
∎ Provide educational materials for the students at the selected schools
∎ Ensure establishing child – the club at the selected schools
∎ Undertake necessary initiative for organizing and ensuring necessary training for the scout leader
∎ Ensuring indoor play materials and books for the school-based child club
∎ Arrange child rights, protection, and safeguarding training for teachers and students
∎ Undertake initiative to revitalize the SMC to ensure their participation in school improvement activities
∎ Provide support to arrange a regular meeting with teachers & SMC
∎ Ensure vocational training for all inattentive student
∎ Conduct Training sessions accordingly to the project requirement
∎ Establish CFM process for getting suggestions/to complain etc
∎ Ensure community and parents/ guardians participation in school level activities
∎ Ensure support to the school to organize cultural functions, sports, and other co-curricular activities at the school level
∎ Ensures comprehensive and effective monitoring and reporting
∎ Prepare and submit planning of the monthly activities to the line manager.
∎ Support to line manager to prepare donor reports.
∎ Prepare the monthly progress report to the line manager.
∎ Supervise and monitor each stage of the activities. Ensure that standards and instructions are given by the line manager, as well as Islamic Relief Bangladesh procedures,
∎ Submission of daily, weekly, and monthly activity and progress report to line manager.
∎ Involve different stakeholders & other Project implementation teams for implementation of the project
∎ Ensure visibility of the project.
∎ Propose some methodology, according to the proposal, and provide it with the experience and lessons learned from the other organizations.
∎ Functional the complaint & feedback mechanism (CFM) and feedback system-5%
∎ Ensure the CFM process at all stages of the project.
∎ Maintain continuous orientation of staffs on CFM process Ensure complain log and register at project office level
∎ Ensure the visibility of the project in different stages and level
∎ Other Requirement-5%
∎ Manage and ensure the integration & compliance of IR policies and other relevant sector codes of good practices including administrative, health, safety, and security policies and frameworks at field level;
∎ Contribute to other project activities and any other tasks as required by program management;
∎ Willing and able to travel frequently for extended periods and to remote areas of the projects.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation and as well as Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on the safeguarding of harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Responsible for seasonal (Ramadan & Qurbani) & emergency response programs if require.
∎ Being a member of Islamic Relief as a child-friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each staff member to understand and obey IR Child Protection & PSEA Policy and respond accordingly as and when required.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor/Country program management

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in working with, Educational interventions to ensure the right of the children particularly in secondary school & Formal and non-formal educational interventions at the school level
∎ Working knowledge of Microsoft Word/ Excel/PowerPoint/Adobe Photoshop/ Basic Internet/ etc.
