Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's in Public Health with graduation from medical background or Medical Graduate with valid BMDC registration.
Job Context:
∎ DASCOH intends to contribute to an improved health status, with special focus on maternal, neonatal and child health, primarily in Rajshahi division. To achieve the goal, DG Health, DG Family Planning, CBHC, DASCOH and the SRC commit themselves to support each other in implementing health system strengthening in Community Clinics, Union Health and Family welfare center and Upazila Health complex.

∎ The Project Officer Health (POH) will provide technical assistance and work closely with all staff at all the government health facilities within the program area so that they are capable to provide the quality services sustainably. S/he will play a mentorship and supervisory role so that all mandated services of the community clinics, union and upazila facilities are ensured and the facilities can function optimally.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To contribute in ensuring the quality MNCH and family planning services at UH&FWC and UHC level.
∎ To coordinate with UHC and UH&FWC personnel for strengthening the health services system.
∎ Provide all sorts of technical support to the project staffs as well as to the health and family planning managers (GoB) for ensuring proper implementation of the project to achieve the project goal and objectives focus on MNCH.
∎ To establish the referral system between the lower tier to upper tier of the health institute and given importance.
∎ To provide intensive support in periodic quantitative and qualitative technical issues for finalising the report.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Having experience working in NGO and relevant experience in Public Health Care (PHC) domain in Government Health and Family Planning structure in Bangladeshi context will be preferred;
∎ The Project Officer Health shall have sound background of project management;
∎ Proven project and staff management skills with a good track record;
∎ Excellent analytical skills;
∎ Excellent in team work,
∎ Strong networking and communication skill;
∎ Valid motorcycle driving license will be given preference.
∎ Skills on computer operation on MS word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet browsing.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 52880 (Monthly)
∎ 2.25 festival bonus, Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Medical Allowance, Travel Allowance, Health Insurance and Leave Benefits will be entitled as per organizational policy.
