Educational Requirements:
∎ [Essential] Minimum Bachelor Degree.
∎ [Desirable] Post-graduate Degree on Disaster Management.

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct and supervise SUPER project related works and advocacy initiatives to mobilize the stakeholders and target community.
∎ Supervise volunteers and UNDC committees to support in project activities and ground support for conducting baseline survey and evaluation.
∎ Draft reports as per the requirements of Donor and WV; and S/He will report to the Project Manager and Area Programme Manager.
∎ Support Project Manager to achieve goal, objectives and outputs of the project at the community level.
∎ Networking and linkage is one of important responsibilities for the position to build up rapport within the community.
∎ Initiate the capacity building process with Technical Specialist in Disaster related issues.
∎ Create the environment for identification of best practices, documented most significant changes, and provide input support different report development to M&E Officer.
∎ Create work environment for ongoing monitoring, monitoring and devise base monitoring to Project M&EO.
∎ Implement project interventions through community level volunteers.
∎ Supervise front-line workers (volunteers/Facilitator Supervisors) those who are not regular full time staff members.
∎ Meet with the targeted community people and other stakeholders in different purposes
∎ Ensure the community mobilization.
∎ Networking within the GoB/DNCC, DCCI, Private sector and other NGOs.
∎ Conduct Regular meeting with different committee to ensure project progress and community support.
∎ Reporting and documentation.
∎ Facilitate to train committees and facilitators to ensure engagement, collaboration and advocacy.
∎ Monitor project relevant activities to ensure progress on time.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have knowledge and skills of Disaster program implementation at urban context.
∎ Management capacity of field level works.
∎ Ability to work in different target groups and diversify socio-cultural environment.
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Ability to work in a team & skill for community mobilization.
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities.
∎ Basic computer literacy using of Microsoft Office Microsoft Word, Excel & MS Power Point.
∎ Understanding of urban context and urban administration.
∎ Minimum 2 years specifically in the Urban Disaster relevant project activities.
∎ 50% field visit in the working area is expected.
∎ Good working relationship with stakeholders.
∎ This role will work directly with the community in respective project maintaining the process and standard of the emergency situation.
