Responsibilities & Context:

This position is responsible for production cost calculation of endi silk yarn and endi silk fabrics, Cost analysis and cost control. He/she will be responsible for inventory management of cocoon, endi noli/ lachi, endi fabrics and other spinning & weaving accessories

  • Maintain accurate records of expenditures and support tracking against the approved budget.

  • Prepare and submit routine financial summaries, reports, and statements as per organizational and donor timelines.

  • Ensure timely and proper documentation for bill payments, IOU settlements, and cash requisitions.

  • Maintain up-to-date records of petty cash, vendor payments, and staff advances.

  • Support in responding to financial audit queries by ensuring proper documentation and timely submission.

  • Assist tracking procurement status and update supervisors regularly.

  • Assist raising purchase requisitions ensuring budget alignment and compliance with procurement policies.

  • Ensure proper documentation of goods received, voucher processing, and vendor files.

  • Assist in maintaining financial records required for internal and external audits.

  • Support internal monitoring visits and donor audits by providing required documentation and explanations.

  • Maintain high standards of financial compliance in all transactions.

  • Provide basic administrative support during field activities, training sessions, and meetings.

  • Assist in maintaining project asset records and support logistics documentation.

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
