Job Context:
∎ RDRS Bangladesh is inviting application to fill the position of Accounts Officer under WRU Project.
∎ SUMMARY OF POSITION:
∎ As field level operational who will perform program implementation through supervision. S/he will carry out the following responsibility under the direct supervision of Senior Manager (WR).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ The incumbent is responsible to:
∎ Manage, implement and delivery the activities work plan with Rehabilitation Officer, Counsellor, Asstt. Counsellor, Admin & Logistic Support Officer and Accounts Officer
∎ Manage and monitor project activities implemented by RDRS Bangladesh including regular field visit.
∎ Facilitate regular communication with and among various level stakeholder;
∎ Represent the program at meetings, workshops, seminars with stakeholders for effective dialogue and advocacy at district and upazila level;
∎ Influence stakeholders for taking initiatives to strengthen government mechanism for reducing VAW and economic exclusion
∎ Organize events/workshops/meetings/trainings in the district and upazila level;
∎ Prepare monthly/quarterly/half yearly/yearly report in proper time and proper way;
∎ Supervise and Monitor day to day activities of Rehabilitation Centre
∎ Attend to additional tasks assigned by Management of RDRS Bangladesh.
∎ TASKS:
∎ Quality Management and Rreporting
∎ Maintain close relations, network and coalition with the government, NGOs and development partners;
∎ Ensure a polite and successful interface with all partner organizations;
∎ Coordinate data required for reporting in coordination with Project Staffs'
∎ COORDINATION AND MONITORING:
∎ Provide leadership, support to Project Staffs and different stakeholders in project implementation.
∎ Maintain liaison with government departments, local administration, public representatives and other stakeholders.
∎ Monitor the ongoing activities and take necessary corrective measures.
∎ Visit the working areas regularly especially rehabilitated girl's home in accordance with the program requirements and provide guidance to Project staffs when required.
∎ Attend different meeting, workshop and other events.
∎ COMMUNICATION:
∎ Establish and maintain communication among Donor, Government and Civil society, conducive to the implementation of the project.
∎ Develop and maintain contacts with all relevant stakeholders.
∎ KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT:
∎ Ensure appropriate documentation and information flow.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years working experience in development area.
∎ Familiar with donor programs.
∎ Familiar with community awareness and motivation
∎ Experience in networking, advocacy, community mobilization and rehabilitation.
∎ Knowledge and experience on Program planning, activities and Project Cycle.
∎ Knowledge and experience on supervision, budgeting, monitoring and reporting.
∎ Good command in English.
Salary: Tk. 55000 (Monthly)
