Educational Requirements:
∎ Post-graduation degree preferably in Social Welfare/ Work; Sociology; Women and Gender Studies; Development Studies; International Affairs; Psychology; Anthropology, Population Sciences, English; Economics, Linguistics etc. from any reputed national and /or international university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ OKUP is a right based migrant organization. OKUP promotes and protects human rights, labour rights, justice and dignity of all migrant workers irrespective of genders across borders through putting migrants` perspectives in the center of migration discourse at all levels through unity and empowerment of migrant workers themselves. Now OKUP is interested to hire Project Manager for its Modern Slavery Innovation Fund project.

∎ Job Type: Contractual- Two year (possibility to extend based on performance and availability of fund)
∎ Reported to: OKUP Management
∎ Job Location: OKUP Head Office, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall implementation of the project activities in line with project document, work plan, budget and with quality and with compliance of organizational policies as well as donor policies
∎ Ensure effective and efficient use of staffs and resources and provides onsite facilitative supervision and technical support to the staffs
∎ Develop training module and organize as well as facilitate training in maintaining guideline
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports both quantitative and qualitative
∎ Monitor of activities conducted by project staffs
∎ Establish and maintain proper liaison, relation and linkage with national and local level stakeholders
∎ Maintain donor communication and compliances
∎ Maintain proper documentation (both hardcopy and softcopy) of project beneficiaries and other required data; project activity, monitoring, follow-up etc. report; activity photos
∎ Ensure 100% standards in financial and logistical management to meet accountability and transparency
∎ Perform any other activity as directed by the management.

∎ BASIC REQUIREMENT (ONLY THOSE ARE CONFIDENT HAVING FOLLOWING SKILLS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY)
∎ Demonstrated experiences and capacity as Project Manager/ Officer/ Coordinator for at least three years in reputed development organizations, trade union based organizations, workers' rights organizations etc..
∎ Demonstrated knowledge on labor rights, labor migration, garments sector, trade union, value chain etc.
∎ Strong capacity on report writing, module development and advocacy
∎ Empowered, strong leadership skills, strong negotiation/bargaining capacity
∎ Fluent in speaking English
∎ Excellent analytical and writing skills in English and Bangla
∎ Excellent training facilitation skills
∎ Hard working and energetic
∎ Understand human rights perspectives, workers' rights perspectives
∎ Able to travel remote and difficult places by oneself
∎ Eager to take challenge
∎ Pro-active attitude
∎ Problem solving skills.
Salary:
∎ Monthly gross salary 55,000/- (Fifty Five Thousand taka).
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Two full festival bonus in each year.
