Job Context:
∎ Concerned Women for Family Development (CWFD) is non-government and voluntary organization registered with Social Welfare (1975) and NGO affairs Bureau (1980) is offering a few job opportunities to work in a (3) three years project named Global Program to End Child Marriage funded by UNFPA. As per the requirements of the project capable males and females of Bangladesh of following criterion can apply:
∎ CWFD and UNFPA do not allow any perpetrator on child abuse.
∎ Line of responsibility: The Project Manager is directly reportable to the Executive Director / Focal Person.
∎ Experienced and expert Female candidates will be given preference
∎ Job duration: January 2021 to December 2023
∎ Work station: Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall Responsibility to achieve goal and outcome of the project.
∎ Supervise staff and monitor day to day performance.
∎ Monitor procurement, compliance and maintain budgetary control.
∎ Take initiative for staff development.
∎ Provide leadership to organize and plan project activities on time.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly work plan and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
∎ Approve the work plan of the Field Manager and monitor the implementation of their work plans.
∎ Monitor the day to day performance of the Accounts/ Admin Officer.
∎ Maintain liaison with UNFPA focal person at the country office and also district offices.
∎ Conduct meeting with the GoB and Community leaders when necessary.
∎ Prepare annual confidential report of the Field Managers and Accounts Officer.
∎ Any other activities assigned by CWFD and UNFPA.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 8 years' experience to work on Project Management
∎ Clear Knowledge on consequences of child marriage.
∎ Positive attitude and belief to develop gender disparity and to reduce harmful stigmas from the society.
∎ Skills to develop training modules on gender, human rights and facilitate with project staff and disseminate with community people.
∎ Overall responsibilities to achieve goal and outcome of the project.
∎ Provide leadership to organize and plan project activities.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports in English.
∎ Practice strategies to supervise staff and monitor performance.
∎ Knowledge on advocacy work to reduce prevailing child marriage of Bangladesh.
∎ Extensive travel in the project areas.
∎ Demonstrate good communication skills.
∎ Knowledge of Microsoft Word, MS Excel and Power Point

Salary:
∎ BDT 60,000/- per month (Including all other benefits)
