∎ Coordinates with Livelihood team

∎ Under the overall direction of Humanitarian Aid Delegate (HAD), the Project Manager - Livelihood will be responsible for the designing, planning, and results-based implementation of livelihood activities at the field level. The Project Manager - Livelihood will work along with the team members and will be responsible to coordinate and establish the linkages amongst all the project team members, groups, stakeholders, and with local and district level concerned officials.
∎ Under the overall supervision of the Project Manager, the Livelihood Filed Promoter will be responsible for Implementation of livelihood project activities in the host community in Ukhiya Upazila, Cox`s Bazar.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and provide technical support in livelihood development projects, activities, initiatives in line with the organizational response strategies.
∎ Develop suitable livelihood options for the development of resilience livelihood of the vulnerable communities.
∎ Ensure necessary project preparation, technical support, stakeholder consultation, action plan, identifying appropriate implementation modalities, etc.
∎ Design capacity development training programs, materials on livelihoods; facilitate training and capacity building events.
∎ Ensure knowledge-management on livelihoods linking overcoming sufferings of affected communities.
∎ With support from MEAL unit, develop internal monitoring and operational plan, ensure monitoring of livelihoods activities at household and community levels.
∎ Ensure timely and quality narrative progress and financial reporting in line with organizational budget line and take appropriate measures to ensure all sending is done according to financial policies.
∎ Maintain close coordination/linkages with targeted local level agencies, I/NGOs, and CBOs, user groups focussing on livelihood specific on-going work and opportunity for complementarity.
∎ Supervise the Livelihood Field Promoters and manage their performance professionally according to the project outcomes as well as in line with organizational procedures.
∎ Assess and consult other partners to ensure security situation of planned locations is calms; Ensure risk assessment and share security information with the line manager.
∎ Provide timely incident report to the line manager as needed.
∎ Ensure proper community
∎ Deliver high quality results in line with the terms of reference agreed in advance – to do this in a way which maintains the reputation of the Humanitarian Department.
∎ Comply with HEKS/EPER policies and practice with respect to code of conduct, PSEAH Policy, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.
∎ Proactively support HEKS commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity: i) Implement all work-related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, considering the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries ii)Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities iii) Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees iv)Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
∎ To perform such other responsibilities as agreed with your line management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 14 years
∎ At least five years of experience in managing livelihood or economic empowerment projects in humanitarian or development contexts.
∎ Prior knowledge of Bangladeshi/Cox’s bazar on is required.
∎ Fluency in English and Bengali. Knowledge of Rohingya language is an asset.
∎ Proven skills in project design, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
∎ Keep strong coordination with other implementing agencies and local governmental authorities at field level.
∎ Knowledge on different standards (Sphere, Core Humanitarian Standards, etc).
∎ Good communication and leadership skills.
∎ Knowledge and experience of community mobilization & Complaint Feedback & Response Mechanism will be an added advantage.
∎ Familiarity with the special context of refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar is an asset.
∎ Good English skills (written and spoken).
∎ Fluency on Cox’s Bazar Local dialect is an asset.
∎ Ability to establish collaborative relationships with staff, beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
∎ Strong attitude to take initiative, work autonomously and achieve results effectively; Flexibility and Stress-management.
