∎ Master of Arts (MA) in Development Studies, Sociology, Social Work, Social Science, Disaster Management, Economics, Geography Environment, English, International Relation

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implementation & Management of Field Level Activities - 40%.
∎ Responsible for planning, budgeting, and implementing all the activities related to the project in line with the results.
∎ Initiate and ensure technical and management support ineffective planning and proper implementation of the project acclivities relating to livelihood, child marriage, protection, advocacy, awareness-raising, networking, civic engagement, governance etc.
∎ Maintain day-to-day management for ensuring the staff members abide by the rules and regulations of the organization.
∎ Take the necessary steps to maintain a congenial and sound working environment as per the policy and guidelines.
∎ Select beneficiaries/project participants {following the criteria mentioned in the project proposal.
∎ Ensure implementation of all the activities mentioned in the project/s proposal/s and as assigned through regular field visits.
∎ Monitoring and evaluation - 10%.
∎ Monitor and evaluate project progress to reach the target within the project/s period.
∎ Provide professional and technical support to project staff.
∎ Regular and frequent field visits to find out possibilities, identify problems and undertake necessary actions.
∎ Assess and follow-up activities being implemented, and provide appropriate suggestions to field staff.
∎ Conduct regular team meetings and share the knowledge & findings to ensure effective program implementation.
∎ Assist the program management and MEAL team to conduct research, study, data collection, and impact assessment as per (the MEAL) framework and ensure quality implementation; Develop concept notes for various events.
∎ Take the initiative to make the CRM (Complain Response Mechanism) active and monitor regularly.
∎ Financial Management - 5%.
∎ Manage project finance & budget following organizational tools & systems.
∎ Disbursement of financial support to direct beneficiaries as well as other contractual aspects of the program, and provide the required support to ensure financial reports as per the requirement of program management.
∎ Monitor the budgetary activities regularly to ensure expenditures are on track.
∎ Reporting and Documentation - 10%.
∎ Take the lead to produce quality program/project progress reports as per the requirement of donors & lR.
∎ Prepare monthly/ quarterly/any other reports as required by line management.
∎ Collect the most significant case stories from the field and prepare a learning document.
∎ Maintain proper process documentation including event reports, visit reports, success stories, educational reports etc.
∎ Staff Management & Capacity Building - 15%.
∎ Lead the team and guide them in finding out solutions to overcome prevailing constraints and challenges.
∎ Manage, supervise and support the field staff in conducting their assigned responsibilities as well as play a mentoring role as required.
∎ Ensure the required capacity of respective field staff in delivering qualitative output, and properly acknowledge their performance.
∎ Identify learning & development need, and take the required action to fill the gaps/need ln coordination with program management and the HRM&OD department.
∎ Conduct staff appraisal and design a necessary action plan for staff development and implement it accordingly.
∎ Ensure proper action to make the staff accountable for their responsibilities.
∎ Advocacy, Networking & Communication - 15%.
∎ Represent IR to Govt., counterparts at the field level and play a role in trust-building with key Govt. agencies as per the direction of program management.
∎ Communication and liaison with local Govt. authorities & other service providers.
∎ Build networks and collaborate with local civil society movements for local-level advocacy initiatives in coordination with program management as well as external relation and communication department.
∎ Other requirements - 5%.
∎ Manage and ensure the integration & compliance of lR policies and other relevant sector codes of good practices including administrative, health, safety, and security policies and frameworks at the field level.
∎ Ensure the logistics in coordination with local procurement committees and the quality of training/workshops/meetings/project-related events.
∎ Responsible for seasonal (Ramadan & Qurbani) & emergency response programs if required.
∎ Support in the procurement of materials like requisition, follow-up etc.
∎ Facilitate donor/external visits and ensure that recommendations of visitors are addressed.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering to achieve the program's goals of safeguarding implementation and as well as Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on the safeguarding of harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Being a member of Islamic Relief as a child-friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each staff member to understand and obey the IR Child Protection & PSEA Policy and respond accordingly as and when required.
∎ Willing and able to travel frequently for extended periods and to remote areas of the projects.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor related to project implementation and other official purposes (ie, emergency or seasonal program).

∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Experience in working with Orphan Sponsorship, Child Rights, Child Protection, Education, Livelihood based approach.
